Full Job Description
We’re looking for experienced tax professionals with strong communication skills and an eye for detail. Our tax preparers enjoy a client-centered, solutions-oriented community of peers with the common focus of outstanding service and professional development. Must have the ability to multitask, work in a high-volume environment, and ensure quality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing client tax returns and reviewing tax returns prepared by other team members
- Ensure delivery of client returns and extensions in a timely manner
- Mentor and educate team members
- Prioritize and update cases in workflow
- Perform research as needed to resolve client tax issues
Qualifications:
- Experience preparing and reviewing 1040 (with all schedules), 1120S, 1065, 940 and 940 returns
- Strong technology skills including MS Office, CRMs, and tax preparation software (Draft experience a plus)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Four Year Degree with emphasis in Business or Accounting preferred
- Current/Active CPA or EA license preferred
